Cal. 22 LR. S# 681. Bbl. 24" part-rnd part-oct. Lyman bead front sight. Flip up v-notch rear sight. Additional tang mounted flip up aperture rear sight. Blued finish. Checkered walnut stock set. CONDITION: stock is loose & has some notable cracks on right side of wrist forming into chips, another small crack on left side of wrist, some dings, checkering wear & handling marks. Metal has an overall dull gray appearance possibly from an old refinish, traces of bluing, scattered light oxidation & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bore shows scattered pitting & oxidation but good rifling. PROVENANCE: Estate of Groves Herrick. (25-6148/MJC). CURIO. $300-500.
